This is an active development project, not a finished product. Format handling and preview features will continue to be tested and improved.

What the tool is being built to do

The utility is under active development. Some image and audio workflows are working in development builds; others are experimental or format-dependent.

Disk images and editing

  • Open, browse and edit Atari ST (.ST) and compressed MSA (.MSA) images
  • Inspect STX (.STX) images in read-only mode
  • Create and save compatible disk image collections

File management

  • Browse FAT12 directory structures and folders
  • Add or remove files on supported writable images
  • Extract files and drag files out to Windows Explorer

Audio exploration

  • Inspect and preview supported .SPL sample files
  • Export supported SPL playback to WAV
  • Investigate Atari STE sampling rates and legacy sound routines

Experimental formats

  • Identify Pack-Ice ICE! packed data (inspection, not full unpacking)
  • Explore Quartet .4V and .SET data structures
  • Expand previews, discovery and format coverage as development continues
