What CoCo Asset Manager is being built to do

The following describes the tool’s development scope. Some workflows are available in current development builds; others are experimental or planned. Compatibility depends on the input format.

Multi-image workspace

  • Open multiple CAS and DSK images together
  • Browse, reorder, delete and transfer programs between images
  • Assemble new cassette or disk collections

Cassette, disk & ROM

  • Load and examine CAS, DSK, ROM and WAV sources
  • Extract individual programs and supported media
  • Save and convert supported formats where compatible

BASIC, 6809 & text

  • Identify and extract BASIC and machine-code programs
  • Recover readable BASIC listings and embedded text
  • Inspect 6809 segments and load or entry addresses

Graphics & sound

  • Search for and preview embedded graphics
  • Inspect input WAV waveforms and recorded audio
  • Explore BASIC sound and 6809 DAC routines; export recovered WAV audio
