CoCo cassette and Atari ST/E floppy illustrations for the two asset managers

CoCo Asset Manager and Atari ST/E Asset Manager — In Development

After Dark Studios is developing two free Windows utilities for working with classic computer software and disk images. Both projects are actively evolving, combining everyday file management with tools for exploring and recovering original program data.

CoCo Asset Manager

Designed for the Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer family (CoCo 1, 2 and 3) and Dragon 32, CoCo Asset Manager brings cassette, disk, ROM and WAV workflows into one multi-image workspace. Open multiple images, organise and extract files, investigate tokenised BASIC and Motorola 6809 machine code, and explore embedded text, graphics and audio.

Format conversion, sound recovery and hardware compatibility are areas of ongoing development and testing.

Atari ST/E Asset Manager

Atari ST/E Asset Manager focuses on Atari ST and STE software preservation and organisation. Its disk-image workflow covers ST and MSA editing, FAT12 file management and read-only inspection of STX images, alongside extraction tools and investigations into classic ST/E audio formats.

Experimental audio and format capabilities are being refined as development continues.

Ongoing development

These are living projects rather than finished releases. Public downloads are coming soon; we will publish release information on the respective Store and Development pages as builds become available.
